Summer 2015

Year One trip to Alice Holt Country Park

We had a brilliant day at Alice Holt.  We managed to have a day without the rain and set off on our adventure on the coach.  We met Jackie, our Forest Leader, who talked to us about all the creatures that live in the forest.  She showed us how easily animals are camouflaged, and we played an exciting game where we wore a blindfold and had to find our way by following a rope!

We especially enjoyed collecting mini beasts in our little pots and going on a Gruffalo hunt.  We also had fun in the park at the end of our visit.

Wow!  We had a very exciting visit from our local Gurkha Regiment during Aldershot Military Week.

You can see how much we enjoyed learning about the army and all the equipment they use!
