Education for All Day

Education for All Day Conference

On Friday 8th November 2013, members of the school council along with Miss Thomas and Mrs Gordon headed up to London to share the success of our Education for All day with other schools and the Steve Sinnott Foundation.

We travelled up by train.

Then jumped in to a taxi to Hamilton House in Euston!

When we arrived, we had to set up our stall to display what we had achieved on the 21st June in the summer term for EFA day.  We shared our lesson plans, resources, photographs and a powerpoint that we had used on the day.  The school council and Miss Thomas also created a handout for visitors to take away with helpful top ten tips on what makes a successful EFA day.

During the day, we had the opportunity to look at stalls displayed by other schools and share ideas with different students.  This led us onto planning for next year’s EFA day!

It was a fantastic day!  We were all very tired on our train journey home!

We learnt a lot and we are now, very excited to begin planning for our next EFA day in 2014!  Watch this space and if you have any questions about EFA day come and speak to us!!! J

Together, we grow our love for learning.
