On Monday 26th February, we had a visit from the NSPCC to lead an assembly. We talked about keeping ourselves safe, including thinking about adults that we can go to if we are worried or upset. We really liked meeting 'Buddy', the speech bubble that helps us to remember to speak out and keep ourselves safe.
We learnt a key message and practised saying it together; 'I have the right to speak out and to stay safe' and the special number we learnt was '0800 1111'.
Next week, we will be taking part in 'Buddy's Workout' to raise money for the NSPCC. We will be bringing home an envelope to collect any sponsorship money from our grown ups at home. Any donations will be greatly received and the class with the most envelopes will win a prize! Thank you for your support!
