WORLD BOOK DAY 2022
At Farnborough Grange, World Book Day started with a wonderful assembly led by Hedgehog Class, highlighting the importance of reading books.
Later in the day, we received a giant book for our school, but there were no words or pictures inside. With the help of some 'lucky dip' bags and the children, we chose characters, a setting and some props to include in our story.
Characters: Horse, fox, cat, superhero
Setting: The desert
Props: A golden plate, and........a sponge!! A sponge?! How were we going to fit that into a story?
Each class discussed what could happen and contributed one page to the story. We had so much fun!
