What if I planted some beans like Jack?
Week beginning 19th April
This week we read the book 'Snail Trail' by Ruth Brown. The story uses lots of prepositions such as in, through, past to describe the trail of the snail. The children enjoyed the story and made their own snail trails, describing where the snail went. The children made snails using salt dough, made snail trails in cornflour and paint and painted snail trails. The children also made plant pots from newspaper and planted sunflower seeds and we are hoping the snails won't eat the seedlings when they grow
