What Makes Me Special?

This topic will teach us about how we are all different. We will learn about the features of our face and learn how we use our five senses to explore the world.

Highlight of the Week

Week beginning 17.10.22

This week the nursery has been learning about Diwali, the Festival of Light. We shared a story about how people get ready for the festival and we really enjoyed using the coloured rice to create our own Rangoli patterns. 

Week beginning 10.10.22

This week we learnt about Harvest. We looked at different foods that are harvested and discussed with the children how they felt, smelt and tasted. The children enjoyed fruit and vegetable  printing to see the different shapes that they made. 

Week beginning 3.10.22

This week we were learning about Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. We have started singing counting songs and went to the forest for the first time.

This week  the children have been continuing to make new friends and exploring colours and numbers. 

Week beginning 19.09.22

This week the children have enjoyed learning the routine of nursery such as where to hang up their coats and how to display their self registration cards. In the garden the children have enjoyed getting to know our rabbit Charlie.

Week beginning 12.09.22

This week the children have enjoyed getting used to the different routines and making some new friendships.  

Week beginning 05.09.22

This week the new children all received a home visit from Mrs Ross and their Keyworker. The children started on Thursday and have enjoyed exploring all of our toys in Nursery.
