WB 3.7.23

We had a really exciting visit from Millers Ark Farm. We got to meet goats, sheep, pigs and donkeys.

WB 26.6.23

We read the story Farmer Duck and have been learning all about farm animals in preperation for the farm coming to visit us next week. 

WB 19.6.23

We have been reading the story of the colour monster which is all about different colours being associated with different feelings. We have been putting our names on the colour monster we are feeling that day. We have been colouring colour monsters to show how they are feeling and we have collaged our own colour monsters.

WB 12.6.23

This week we continued reading the story Our beach and discussed what the characters were doing at the beach. We also pretended we were at the beach and had a sensory experience of walking through the sand and sea and discussed how it felt.

WB: 5.6.23

This week we have read the story Our Beach by Rebecca Smith. We have done lots of activities to help us learn about different sea creatures. We have used magnets to catch and identify numbers on fish. We turned the tables upside down and wrapped them in cling film and painted our own under the sea scenes. It was also art week we looked at the artist's Matisse's snail art work and collaged our own snails.
